Choosing a makeup artist is a personal decision - and it can be a big one, especially if you’re planning your wedding or makeup choices for any large event. What is airbrush makeup?

Before you can decide if you want airbrush makeup, it helps to know what it actually is. In a nutshell, airbrushing uses the power of compressed air to mist foundation gently across your skin using special foundation that works with a corresponding airbrushing device. Typically, these systems include a small pen-like applicator that sprays the foundation. (Source: The Knot)

Okay, got it... so why should i use it?

Airbrush makeup lasts much longer than traditional foundation. It will withstand an entire day and more activity due to the fact it is silicon based. The technology allows for the makeup to applied with an even, smooth finish that generally appears flawless. It looks gorgeous in pictures - which is important for big events! In addition to all of these, it feels much lighter and more natural on the skin.

During all bridal trials, I use traditional makeup on one side of the face and airbrush on the other to allow clients to experience both and decide the right option for themselves!

do you travel?

Yes!

In order for me to travel over an hour for any event, there must be a minimum of three clients for that day.

Please keep in mind that travel fees do apply, and for any event where the travel is over 2 and a half hours the client will be required to provide accommodation.

can you tell me more about consultations?

Consultations are really my way of sharing my love of makeup with as many people as possible. So often, I hear people tell me that they love and admire makeup - but have no idea how to apply it or what products to use.

With that in mind, I decided to create a consultation service alongside my business as a makeup artist. Consultations can look a few different ways, but always start the same - a one on one conversation about what your makeup goals are for yourself. Then, we can have some fun! I can help you shop for some new products that meet your needs and will work for you.* Then, I will provide a personalized tutorial for you where I walk you through step by step instructions on how to apply your products. Working on a budget? No biggie! I can also provide a tutorial that uses products that you already own.

The best part about consultations is that they can happen online or in-person. They are tailored to suit your individual needs.

*Client is responsible for all product purchases.

do you offer hairstyling?

As of Spring 2023, I am certified in bridal and event hairstyling. I only offer hair as an add on with makeup services, and on a case-by-case basis. In the interest of time and quality assurance, groups of over 3 must book a dedicated hair stylist for any event type.

What is a sanitation specialist?

Being a certified sanitation specialist means that I have taken and passed courses that have educated me about how to most effectively sanitize my makeup, tools and brushes, and self. By having this qualification I can assure you and your loved ones that I have taken every necessary precaution to make your experience clean and healthy - especially during the era of COVID-19.
